Excess Income from The Ultimate Reunion. |
As the Planning Committee for The Ultimate Blackbird Reunion,
we have worked very hard on costs. This was very difficult because we have no idea how many people to plan for. Since we are in this effort simply to have a good time and see old friends,
the committee has voted to donate excess funds, if any, to My Sister’s House,
a domestic violence and sexual assault agency located in Rocky Mount. |

Book about the Blackbird Glory Days |
The Twin County Community Pride has reduced the shipping and handling costs associated with the book Blackbirds: Glory Days of Rocky Mount Athletics by Lee Pace.
For those ordering online, the shipping has been reduced to only $3.37, bringing the cost of a shipped book to just $30 total.
This hardback, coffee table quality book is a limited edition and when they are sold out, they will be gone forever, so you might want to order an extra copy while they are available. You may order online at www.twincountymuseum.com or pick up a book locally at Almonds Drug Store at Westridge, Bulluck Furniture Company, R. Levy Ltd, or Thompson's Pharmacy.
If you don’t have a copy, you can buy one at the reunion event, too. Have a copy with you to get autographs from classmates, coaches, and faculty attending the momentous Blackbirds Return to the Roost Reunion on June 7th!! |

Rocky Mount High School Memorabilia |
Anyone having memorabilia of their days in RMHS is invited to bring it to The Supreme Blackbird Reunion. Pictures, old "cruising" vehicles, programs, anything that will bring back the memories! Old vehicles will be parked outside and old pictures, etc. can be displayed on the tables where your group will gather.
